Best Credit Card for Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket & Offline Grocery Stores in India
Buying groceries and daily essentials has completely changed in India. Instead of long supermarket visits, most of us now rely on quick delivery apps like Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket, or even swipe at our local offline grocery stores. But here’s the catch—while these purchases are a part of our regular routine, many people miss out on the chance to earn real cashback and rewards just by using the right credit card.
Why You Should Use Credit Cards on Grocery & Delivery Apps
In India, most people in major cities now buy groceries and daily essentials through quick delivery apps like Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket. The average order value on these platforms is around ₹500. Now, imagine using a credit card that offers 5–10% cashback on such spends—you could easily save ₹50 to ₹100 on a single order.
Yet, very few people are aware of this benefit, and many don’t bother to upgrade or switch their credit cards simply because they’re comfortable with their existing ones. In reality, choosing a card based on your spending habits and categories can significantly maximize your savings.
Beginner’s Guide: Don’t Have a Credit Score Yet?
If you’re a beginner and don’t have a strong credit score to apply for premium cards, I recommend focusing on improving your score first. You can also explore beginner-friendly cards that don’t require any prior credit history, but keep in mind—they usually don’t offer great cashback but you can give a try to Rupay credit cards which can give you some real cashback even for begineers. That’s why it’s better to build your credit score early and be responsible with your card usage.
Track Your Spending then Choose Cards That Match Your Expenses

First, you need to understand where your money is going. You can do this with a simple Excel sheet or by reviewing your bank statement from the previous month. Personally, I used the Jupiter app, since I made all my purchases last month with the Jupiter Edge Credit Card. The app gave me a clear insight into my spending—40% groceries, 10% food & drinks, 40% online shopping, and the rest on medical & bills. I’ll soon share a detailed guide on how you can track expenses effortlessly.
Now, if a large part of your monthly spending is on quick delivery apps, food, and dining, this post will help you find the best credit cards that offer real cashback. Keep in mind, most of these top cards aren’t lifetime free and may come with a joining fee. That’s why it’s important to first calculate your expenses and see if these cards will truly benefit you. Let’s get started!

Best Credit Cards for Grocery, Quick-Delivery & Offline Stores
This list highlights the best cashback you can earn on everyday spends—whether it’s through Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket, Zomato, Swiggy deliveries, or even offline supermarkets like Reliance Bazaar and D-Mart etc
HSBC Live+ Credit Card
- This is one of my favorite credit cards because my spending aligns perfectly with the cashback it offers. The cashback is adjusted directly in the next monthly statement, so there’s no need for manual redemption. The only drawback is the monthly cashback cap, which I’ll explain below.
- Cashback: 10% on groceries, dining, and food delivery (including Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket), capped at ₹1,000 per statement cycle; 1.5% on all other spends. This means you’ll earn the full 10% cashback on grocery spends up to ₹10,000, and beyond that, you’ll get 1.5%.
- Fees: ₹999 joining and ₹999 annual fee (often waived when 2 lakhs annual spends)
- Although approval process is not quick, it may take 1-2 weeks to get this card even with good credit score, sometimes you need to call their customer care as well to track your application.

HDFC Swiggy Credit Card
- This card is equally perfect as the one mentioned above, offering a straight 10% cashback on Swiggy purchases. Not only that, it gives 5% cashback on eligible merchants like Amazon, Flipkart, and others from the list. Additionally, it comes with a lower joining fee compared to the HSBC card.
- Cashback: 10% on Swiggy (including Instamart) spends, capped at ₹1,500 per month; 5% on other online purchases.
- Fees: ₹500 joining and ₹500 annual fee (waived on ₹2 lakh yearly spend)
- Some users have reported that it doesn’t provide 5% cashback on all products on Amazon or Flipkart; it depends on the MCC (Merchant Category Code).
- This card only provides 1% cashback for offline purchase, but HSBC one is good for offline as well.

Tata NeuCard Infinity HDFC Bank Card
- I have also recommended this card in the top rewards-paying RuPay credit cards. This card is suitable for groceries via Bigbasket and online purchases vie Neu App. However, it doesn’t offer much cashback for offline spending if its not Tata brand. This card is ideal for those who spend more on Tata products, allowing them to enjoy 5–10% cashback on Tata brands.
- Cashback: 10% on Tata Neu online purchases, 5% on BigBasket purchases. Apart from this, it gives 1.5% cashback for all other UPI spends.
- Fees: ₹0 joining and ₹1,499 annual fee (often waived when 3 lakhs annual spends)
- This card is excellent if you spend on Tata products, whether it’s an Air India flight, Tanishq jewellery, or BigBasket quick delivery—it’s perfect for that. However, for non-Tata purchases, you only earn 1.5% cashback.

Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card
- This card was suggested by our readers, and it’s truly impressive. It offers a 25% discount on all Airtel payments—including postpaid and internet bills. On top of that, you also get 10% cashback on quick delivery apps like BigBasket, and another 10% cashback on other bill payments such as Jio postpaid, water, and electricity. Overall, it’s a great deal for regular expenses.
- Cashback: 10% on utility bills via Airtel Thanks app, 10% on Swiggy, Zomato, & BigBasket. (capped at ₹500/month), 25% on All Airtel Services, 1% on other spends.
- Fees: ₹500 joining and annual fee (waiver possible on ₹2 lakh yearly spend)
- This card comes with cashback caps for different categories. For Airtel bill payments, you can claim up to ₹250 cashback per month. Similarly, another ₹250 can be claimed under the 10% cashback category, and up to ₹500 for spends on Swiggy, Zomato, and BigBasket. In total, it’s easier to earn around ₹750 cashback monthly. Beyond this cap, the card only offers 1% cashback—which isn’t very rewarding. After reaching the limit, it’s better to switch to another card.
