Top Reward-Paying RuPay Credit Cards – Expert Picks

We make sure to include only the most relevant RuPay credit cards, each backed by our personal reviews and hands-on testing. Unlike many articles that simply share links, our focus is on providing genuine, experience-based insights. Our goal is to test and review every card thoroughly before recommending it — which is why you’ll never find sponsored credit cards in our articles.
In this post, we’ll focus on the top reward-paying RuPay credit cards that are generally available to users with a good or average credit score. This is different from our previous article, where we covered the best RuPay cards for beginners with no credit score — mostly FD-backed options. While those are great for building a credit history, they usually don’t offer the best cashback or rewards. To unlock better benefits, you typically need to have some credit history, you can check your history on How to Check Your Credit Score in India for Free in 2025
Let’s dive into our latest list of the best rewarding RuPay credit cards, complete with our expert reviews based on cashback, rewards, and customer service.

1. Jupiter CSB Edge+ RuPay Credit Card
Jupiter offers the Edge+ (formerly Edge) Credit Card in partnership with CSB Bank. It is a lifetime-free credit card, and I personally use it for its superior rewards compared to other cards.
I have also tested their customer service multiple times. It works well during business days and hours, and they provide an AI chatbot that can resolve queries quickly. While I have tried their email support, I don’t recommend it as my experience involved repeated redirections without useful resolutions. On the other hand, their phone support has been excellent.
Top Features I recommend:
- Cashback: Offers tiered cashback: ~10% on shopping, 5% on travel, 1% on everything else (monthly caps apply)
- Application: Fully digital via Jupiter app; allows UPI credit card payments and offers “convert to EMI” on spends
- Lifetime free (But Joining Fees: 499₹) on edge+ variants.

Best For: Daily spends, A solid pick if you’re aiming for a generous, easy-to-manage cashback structure—especially useful for UPI and essential expenses.
2. Tata Neu RuPay Credit Card
There is a lot of buzz around this credit card as it offers attractive reward points and is applicable on all Tata products. You can earn 7% or 10% cashback depending on the card variant, which is provided by HDFC Bank. They offer two versions — NeuCard Infinity and NeuCard Plus — with Infinity offering higher cashback. According to independent reviewers, their customer service is comparable to Jupiter’s. If you frequently spend on Tata products, this card can provide higher cashback than the Jupiter card
Top Features I recommend:
- No Joining Fee: Joining fee: 0₹ but annual fee (₹1,499 for Infinity variant, ₹499 for Plus variant), often waived off based on spending
- Rewards: Among the best in its category, offering generous cashback across multiple segments. I especially like the 10% cashback on Tata Neu and 5% on other Tata brands such as BigBasket and Croma, which is a great deal. Additionally, it provides 1.5% cashback on other UPI spends (whereas Jupiter offers only 1%).
- Current Offer: No Joining Fees

Best For: Tata ecosystem users looking for rich rewards and lifestyle benefits, but yearly renewal fees may apply unless waived.
3. KIWI RuPay Credit Card
Kiwi offers a lifetime-free RuPay card with seamless UPI integration. It provides a virtual credit card through a co-branded partnership with Yes Bank, offering up to 1.5% cashback on its free variant. The higher-end variant, Kiwi Neon, comes with 5% cashback as well as domestic lounge access. Kiwi is also expanding its partnerships with other banks, including AU Small Finance Bank and Axis Bank. I found that customer service is average as per customer reviews on online forums, please do let me know about this in the comments.
Top Features I recommend:
- Fees: No joining or annual fees
- Cashback:
- 1.5% flat on everyday UPI spends
- Upgradable (₹999 + GST) for 5% UPI cashback with annual spend of ₹1.5L
- Application: Full app-based process via GoKiwi; supports UPI linking, and provides instant digital access
- Some negatives we found: It doesn’t provide rewards on transactions below ₹50, though this isn’t a major drawback

Best For: high-value UPI users wanting simple cashback—but proceed with caution due to mixed feedback on small spends and support.
4. HSBC RuPay Cashback Credit Card
I’ve been closely following the new RuPay credit cards, and HSBC’s Cashback variant really stands out for everyday spends. What caught my eye first was its 10% cashback on dining, food delivery, and groceries — categories where most of us spend regularly. Add to that UPI integration and airport lounge access, and it feels like a card that balances lifestyle perks with practical value. Compared to many other RuPay cards, this one offers a stronger mix of cashback + travel benefits, which makes it worth considering if you want more than just UPI rewards.
Top Features I recommend:
- Joining Fee: ₹499 + GST (Annual fee is also same, waived if you spend ₹2 lakh annually)
- Rewards:
- 10% cashback on dining, food delivery & groceries (up to ₹400/month)
- 1% cashback on all other eligible spends, including UPI
- Welcome Offers: ₹500 cashback on first ₹10,000 spend (within 30 days), ₹100 Amazon voucher, 2-month EasyDiner membership
- Perks: Up to 10 complimentary airport lounge visits yearly + 0% forex markup till Dec 2025

Best For: Anyone who spends regularly on food, groceries, and travel, and wants a cashback card with strong lifestyle benefits.
5. Axis Bank SuperMoney RuPay Credit Card
This co-branded card from Axis Bank and super.money (a Flipkart-backed fintech) is positioned as a lifetime-free UPI-first credit card. Its biggest highlight is the 3% cashback on UPI spends made via the super.money app, which makes it attractive for everyday digital payments. While the cashback is capped at ₹500 per month, it’s still a good deal considering there are no joining or annual fees.
Top Features I Recommend:
- Lifetime-Free: No joining or annual fee — a true zero-cost card.
- Cashback:
- 3% cashback on UPI spends done through the super.money app (capped at ₹500/month).
- 1% cashback on all other eligible spends.
- Other Perks:
- Fuel surcharge waiver of 1% (valid on ₹400–₹4,000 fuel spends, max ₹400/month).
- Partner discounts on select merchants like Ola, Myntra, MakeMyTrip (seasonal).
- Ease of Use: UPI payments are seamless through the app, but note that the higher 3% rate applies only if you transact via the super.money app — otherwise, it’s 1%.

Best For: Regular UPI spenders who want a predictable cashback card with zero annual cost.
Credit History or Salary is Mandatory
All the above cards are not for beginners, non-salaried individuals, or students, because they are among the best cashback-paying credit cards in the RuPay network. This means you can also use them to pay smaller merchants via UPI scan, but only if the merchant is registered and hasn’t disabled RuPay acceptance.
I’ve mentioned this in my earlier posts too — if you want access to high-reward credit cards, you need a strong credit history. Otherwise, banks will ask for your salary slips, and in many cases, both are required. That’s why it’s better to start building your credit history early, as it makes your financial journey much smoother in the future. See you next time 👋
There are many other RuPay UPI-based credit cards that seem to offer higher cashback, but they often come with hidden conditions. That’s why I haven’t recommended them here. I may write a separate post on which credit cards to avoid, to help you make a better choice.
Don’t forget to share in the comments if you know of another card that should be on our list. We’ll be happy to add it after reviewing feedback and user experiences online.
